Joe Manget, MSc
Chairman
Joe Manget is an Operating Partner at Alignvest and Chairman of the Edgewood Health Network Inc. (EHN), a Canadian based private pay mental health and addictions treatment platform. Prior to joining Alignvest, Joe was a Senior Partner at The Boston Consulting Group where he led BCG Canada (2006 to 2009), then led BCG’s Global Operations practice (2010 to 2012). His background includes a Master's of Science from Stanford University, graduating summa cum laude. Joe is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), is on the Finance Committee for Upper Canada College, and serves on the board of Bridgepoint Active Healthcare.
Dr Stephen Herman, MD
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Stephen Herman has served for over twenty-five years as a thoracic radiologist. Trained at the University of Toronto and Harvard, Dr. Herman is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine where he also served as head of Thoracic Imaging. Dr. Herman also founded and served as President of Interpra Medical Imaging Network, a radiology workflow software publisher. After it was divested to Merge Technologies, Dr. Herman then served as Chief Medical Officer of Merge and a member of Merge’s executive team until 2003.
Hasan Dharamshi, MHI
Vice President, Professional Services
Hasan brings deep experience in healthcare informatics, strategy and operations to the MedCurrent team. Previously, Hasan worked with industry-leading professional service firms Accenture and Healthtech Consultants. His background includes a Master's in Health Informatics from the University of Toronto and multiple Epic certifications.
Martin Kepa, MHI, RTR
Vice President, Account Management
Martin brings extensive experience in clinical, technical, operations, business consulting and account management in the health domain to the MedCurrent team. Martin started his career as a radiological technologist (MRT(R)) and moved into progressively senior roles in imaging informatics. Aside from hospitals, Martin has worked with start-ups, mid-sized health facilities as well as a large multi-national IT services firm (CGI Inc.) to help deliver and manage complex health informatics solutions for healthcare customers. His background includes undergraduate degrees in Human Biology, Medical Radiation Sciences as well as an Executive Master of Health Informatics (EMHI) degree from the University of Toronto.
Graeme McKay, BSc
Vice President, Technical Services
Graeme brings significant experience in both healthcare informatics and finance product design and development to the MedCurrent team. Previously, Graeme worked with innovative start-up companies including Radimetrics as well as industry leaders Bayer Healthcare and JP Morgan Chase. Graeme holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Computing from the University of Strathclyde as well as being a certified Scrum Product Owner.
